Hike the Heights is an annual community hike and celebration in northern Manhattan parks that promotes the use of the Giraffe Path, an urban trail that connects the Cloisters to Central Park. 9/11 Remembrance Walking Tour
A walking tour including stops at Ground Zero, the Freedom Tower, the 9/11 Memorial, St. Paul’s Chapel, and the Firefighters Memorial.
Cost: $20 (Cash) per person due by June 1st.
We will gather at 10:00 am at 525 Audubon Avenue in the Lobby Area, and will travel by subway.

For National Volunteer Week, we would like to thank all of our volunteers who take out time from their busy schedules to spend it with our residents. One such volunteer is Damola Ajibola who has formed a special bond with 96-year old Inez Floyd to fill up the void he feels for his grandmother back in Nigeria.

Moriah Older Adult Luncheon Club was founded in 1974 to serve seniors of all ethnicities in Washington Heights and Inwood - two communities which contain the highest percentage of seniors in the New York area. Moriah serves fresh, nutritious, hot lunches to seniors.
